Shots ring out in Oroville as police search for shooter

The Oroville Police Department (OPD) is investigating reports of shots fired near Myers Street on Sunday, October 27th.

According to police, officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting 10 to 12 shots fired near the 3400 block of Myers Street just after 6 p.m.

Residents reportedly witnessed a vehicle leaving the area shortly after shots were fired.

While no one was injured in the shooting, OPD said officers found multiple shell casings at the scene, consistent with a shooting.

Police said they have obtained CCTV footage of parts of the incident and are currently reviewing it. The investigation is ongoing.
