Woman abused marital union after learning he had low annual income

The woman apparently criticized her potential partner after learning that his salary was Rs 3 lakh ($3,568) per annum and not Rs 30 lakh ($3 million) per annum as previously claimed. A screenshot of the conversation was shared by a men’s rights activist on social media site X.

While we don’t know the entire conversation between the woman and the man and can’t confirm whether the two are the same person, it appears from the screenshot posted that the woman was pushing the man for a speedy engagement.

However, when she discovered that the man had a small salary, the conversation immediately took a wild turn, as can be seen in the screenshot.

The man said the woman seemed “nice all these days” until he pointed out his “typo.” The man’s name is Kish Siff on Channel X, where his bio states that he is a consultant for the Save Indian Family Foundation, a men’s rights NGO.

The screenshot shows that the woman asked the man for an early engagement. When he asked for more time to get to know her, advising caution as it would be a second marriage for both of them, the woman refused, saying, “I can’t wait, or we’ll find another couple.”

The man refused the pressure and said that he agreed to get engaged in mid-November. He then told the woman that he had made a small “typo” on his marital profile, adding an extra zero to his salary.

He said his salary was 3 lakh (US$3,568) per annum, not 30 lakh (US$3 million).

Hearing this, the woman soon lost her cool, cursing the men’s rights activist with words too unpleasant to reproduce here, as seen in the posted screenshot.

The man further claimed that he learned from court orders that the woman was already receiving large alimony payments from her ex-husband.

“During the background check, it was revealed… that in the compromise order of the High Court, this woman took 80 lakhs (USD 8 million) to settle the case of false 498A against her relatives… She told me all the made-up stories and said that “She didn’t take a penny during the divorce,” he wrote.

The man also shared screenshots of threatening messages he received from the woman’s mother. In the messages, the mother said that she would file a police report against the man for cheating her daughter.

This whole conversation soon became the subject of discussion on social media with many comments criticizing women for having a “gold digger” mentality. On the contrary, some praised User X for exposing fraudulent practices of women on matrimonial sites.
