Today we are seeing another 10 degree jump in temperature!

Skies will be cloudy this morning with temperatures in the 60s. Winds will pick up late morning and continue to blow from the southwest between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., gusting as high as 25 mph throughout the day. This will help raise the temperature to 70 degrees.

Skies will be mostly clear overnight and temperatures will be pleasant (around 50 degrees).

The forecast for Wednesday is very similar. Highs will reach 79 and winds will once again be out of the southwest.

The focus of the forecast is obviously on the chance of rain on Thursday. There is no doubt that there will be rain on Thursday. The morning hours will be mostly cloudy and dry, but scattered showers will begin in the afternoon across the tri-state area.

Most places will experience scattered showers until 6:00 pm. One thing that still shows some variation in weather models is when the rain will stop locally. The rain will end from west to east. Currently it looks like the showers are set to end between 6pm and 9pm, but for our eastern regions this will mean continued rain throughout the Trick or Treat hours.
