Joe Rogan Explains Why Interview With Kamala Harris Hasn’t Happened Yet

Joe Rogan shared why podcast interview with vice president Kamala Harris has not yet materialized, just a few days after it went viralThe Joe Rogan Experience»interview with former president Donald Trump.

The Austin, Texas-based podcast host, who told Trump during Friday’s episode that he sincerely hoped that an interview with the Democratic presidential candidate would take placeconfirmed on Tuesday on X, previously on Twitter, that “the Harris campaign has not stopped producing the podcast yet.”

“They suggested a date on Tuesday, but I would have to go to her, and they only wanted to spend an hour,” he wrote. “I firmly believe that the best way to do this is in a studio in Austin. My sincere wish is just to have a nice conversation and get to know her as a person.”

Earlier this week, the Harris campaign confirmed that they discussed a possible appearance with Rogan, but it didn’t work out due to her schedule.

Although Rogan concluded that he hopes “we can get this done” before Election Day, his casual refusal to give such a high-profile interview – which he has addressed on his show before – left social media users both confused and disappointed.

Rogan was criticized for Trump’s platform in a podcast on Friday, but was also praised for pressuring the former president about his false statements that the 2020 presidential election was stolen.

Later in the interview, Rogan said he could have a “great conversation” with Harris if she came on the show.

“I think I can talk to her.” he told Trump during an interview. “I wouldn’t interview her, I would just try to talk to her and hopefully get to know her as a person. My goal was to get her to express herself.”

The episode has since received over 37 million views on YouTube alone.

On Friday, Rogan said his only goal in interviewing Harris was "make her express herself.
