Israel warned Tehran about using new capabilities in case of another Iranian attack – World

TEL AVIV, October 29. /TASS/. Israeli Army Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi warned Iran of possible attacks on targets it has not yet hit and with capabilities it has not yet used if it launches another missile attack on Israel.

“If Iran makes the mistake of launching another missile attack on Israel, we will again know how to get to Iran with capabilities that we didn’t even use this time and deal a very, very strong blow to both their capabilities and places that we have installed. For now, on the sidelines,” he was quoted as saying by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) during a visit to Ramon Air Base.

According to Halevi, the Israeli military postponed strikes on a number of targets in Iran “for a very simple reason, because we may be required to do it again.”

“We are well prepared on all fronts. We operate in Lebanon, in the Gaza Strip, fighting terrorism in Judea and Samaria, as well as in other distant arenas,” he added.

On October 26, the IDF said it was carrying out targeted strikes on military targets in Iran “in response to months of continuous attacks.” The Iranian military, in turn, said that some of its facilities in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan and Ilam were attacked, but Israel caused only minor damage as the country’s air defense systems repelled the main attack.

On October 1, the Islamic Republic launched a massive missile attack on Israel in response to the killing of senior officials of the Palestinian movement Hamas, Hezbollah and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. According to the Israeli side, about 180 shells were fired, most of which were intercepted. Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei warned that attacks on Israel would only escalate.
