Local 303 Meeting in October featuring The Milk Blossoms and our 2nd Annual Costume Contest.

Local 303’s meeting on Monday, October 28th at Globe Hall kicked off with our second annual costume contest, where the grand prize winner received a pair of tickets to Billie Eilish’s sold-out concert at Ball Arena next month. Led by Sean Lucero and Alisha Sweeney, who dressed as Wayne and Garth from the famous Wayne’s World Saturday Night Live sketch, they led a costume contest that drew 27 entries and awarded the top three with exciting concert tickets and prizes “Best Suit” .

There was a playlist of Halloween songs from Colorado artists as the DJ, and the evening ended with an energetic set from The Milk Blossoms. The group, led by Harmony Rose, got into the Halloween spirit and all wore platinum wigs to match the lead singer of “Being Harmony Rose,” a playful nod to the cult classic film. Being John Malkovich.

Costume competition winners:
1st place: Mother and daughter duo dressed as Cage the Elephant and Vampire Weekend.
2nd place: “Everyone! Guess who I am? Famous animated siblings Meg and Stewie from Family Guy
3rd place: Rock legends Slash and Lenny Kravitz
