Some Auckland train delays due to youths on overhead power lines

Some Eastern and Southern Line trains in Auckland are being delayed by youths on overhead power lines near Manurewa station.

Auckland Transport said power was cut in the area due to the risk caused by trespassers.

Police said the youths were seen on overhead lines near Jellicoe Park shortly before 4 p.m.

AT said passengers can expect delays and possible flight cancellations.
