Ime Udoka must solve the Houston Rockets ‘puzzle’

The Houston Rockets have a lot of moving parts within their organization right now, but they’re not sure where exactly they should go.

It’s up to second-year coach Ime Udoka to figure out which players and pieces go where and which ones need to go.

“This will not be the easiest puzzle for head coach Ima Udoka to solve, although several potentially huge obstacles have at least been cleared from his path. With significant contract extensions for Alperen Shengyun and Jalen Green, the future is even closer. focus (although Green may still be a little in the air.) Houston could face its fair share of internal efforts. All the young players are forging their own path, and the veterans, of course, want their own chances. The potential for drama is there, but if Udoka gets everyone moving in the same direction, this talented team could outperform projections,” writes Bleacher Report contributor Zach Buckley.

It will take more than four games for the Rockets to figure it out, but if the first snippet of the season is any indication, Houston has two stars in Jalen Green and Alperen Sengun, even if they are inconsistent on a nightly basis.

The Rockets also have several other capable players, but they will need more time to develop and prove themselves as the season progresses.

The Rockets return to action tomorrow night to face Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks.
