Jimmy Fallon was seen outside NBC Studios after an “awkward” interview with TikTok’s The Costco Guys.

Jimmy Fallon seemed unfazed by any backlash to his Costco Guys interview on Wednesday as he filmed the holiday skit outside the NBC studios in New York City.

After being accused of “barely” hiding “his disdain” while chatting with Costco Guys, AJ, Big Justice and The Rizzler on Monday’s episode of his late-night talk show, the 50-year-old host returned to work with a smile on his face.

The four-time Emmy Award winner looked ready to kick off the most wonderful time of the year with a pair of skates in hand.

In the segment, he could be seen wearing a festive red and white reindeer scarf and a long black coat.

He later returned in front of the cameras wearing a white dress shirt and black bow tie.

For most New Yorkers like Fallon, the holiday season doesn’t officially begin until the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree arrives in Manhattan.

NBC, which hosts The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, will broadcast the lighting ceremony on December 4, 2024.

Fallon’s latest appearance comes after his noticeably awkward interview with The Costco Guys on TikTok.

At one point, Fallon interrupted his guest, Big Justice, shortly after he asked him to explain his infamous “Boom Meter” rating.

“You have something on your channel called Boommeter. Can you explain how Boommeter works, Big Justice?” – asked the presenter.

Big Justice replied, “So we did it: boom or bust.” But everyone said: “You don’t give any dooms,” blah, blah, blah. Right?

“Well, we came up with the beat counter because people rate things from one to 10. So we said it’s one to five beats.

“If it’s good: four strikes, good: two strikes, bad: one strike, awesome: five hard strikes.”

At this point, Big Justice, AJ’s dad, and Rizzler were about to shout five times in unison, but Jimmy intervened to stop them.

“Okay,” Jimmy interrupted. – Yes, five strikes.

He then moved the segment further so his guests could rate the Halloween candy with their rating instead.

Unimpressed viewers flooded social media, criticizing Jimmy for his behavior.

Speaking to X, one said: “Anyone else notice Jimmy Fallon’s barely contained disdain for the Costco Guys and their BOOM Meter?”

Another said: “I have never hated Jimmy Fallon more than I do at this very moment.

“He doesn’t appreciate the joys and whims of the guys at Costco or even The Rizzler.

“He cuts them off, he ignores the love they can give to the world. I hope he goes to hell the moment he takes his last breath.”

A third added: “Can’t stop thinking about how much Jimmy Fallon hated the Costco guys.”

“I love how the Costco guys are just having fun and Fallon is just pissed,” continued a fourth.

Others were a little more understanding.

“If I were Jimmy, I’d be so angry I’d try to move on to the next guest,” one said.

Echoing the same sentiment, another said: “Of all the influencers, I think this family has to be the most annoying of all.”

Father-son duo AJ and Big Justice – real names Andrew and Eric Befum – have taken the internet by storm with their Costco reviews in which they either approve or disapprove of products using their boom rating.

Rizzler, although not related to AJ and Big Justice, is also known for his social media profile.

The third-grader, real name Christian Joseph, gained popularity on TikTok after uploading a video of himself dressed as a Black Panther.

He is also known for doing the “crooked face”, a movement in which he pouts his lips and strokes his chin.

In June, it was confirmed that Jimmy had extended his contract to helm the NBC late-night talk show until 2028.

The news comes nearly a year after 16 current and former employees accused him of creating a “toxic work environment.”
