He appeared on Norwich Today at the Royal Court he was found guilty of one count of sexual assault and one count of administering poison or using instruments to cause an abortion.

Warby previously admitted buying the abortion drug but denied giving it to the woman.

court told how Warby administered two drugs to induce a “chemical” abortion, which is usually used in the very early stages of pregnancy.

He also refused to take his victim to hospital for three hours on August 4, 2022, when she was suffering from severe abdominal pain.

The court heard Warby and his friend Wayne Finney hatched a “cold, heartless and calculating” plan after they “connected”.

But they were caught after the victim read a message on Warby’s phone: “Everything is working, she’s bleeding.”

Before the tragedy, one of Finny Warby’s text messages said: “The pills are being sent today.”

To which Warby replied: “Thanks for being there for me, mate.”

It is alleged that Wayne Finney’s girlfriend, Nuesa Cepeda, made an appointment over the phone at an abortion center, pretending to be pregnant.

She was given medication and warned about heavy bleeding as well as severe pain that could occur between 10 and 24 weeks of pregnancy.

Cepeda was told that the uterus could be more seriously damaged.

The tablets were delivered to her on August 2, 2022, and she met Warby and Finney at the George Hotel in Dereham.

Warby himself had previously purchased mifepristone and misoprostol for £470 from a London gynecologist on July 29.

Cepeda was caught on surveillance camera holding a white envelope, which she left on a bench.

Warby was seen picking him up and pulling out a blue box of pills.

After his victim suffered a miscarriage and found incriminating messages on her phone, Warby was arrested on August 5, 2022.

Police arrested him on suspicion of sexual assault for injecting a woman with one of the drugs without her knowledge or consent.

He was then arrested for causing a miscarriage using poison after investigators discovered a Google search for misoprostol.

A sick 40-year-old woman also wondered whether the child could survive the abortion.

Police found an empty packet of misoprostol in a trash bin in his bedroom at home, as well as an iPhone and a Nokia phone.

Warby admitted he purchased the drug illegally but said he had changed his mind, the court heard during the two-week trial.

He said he crushed the pill into the woman’s drink but threw it away, which may explain why it ended up in the woman’s system.

But Edward Vickers, prosecuting, said: “The biggest lie was that he said his conscience got the better of him and he couldn’t keep giving drugs.”

“We say this is complete nonsense.”

Warby is scheduled to be sentenced on December 6, 2024.

Wayne Finney, 41, of Station Street, Swaffham, denied knowingly encouraging or assisting an offence.

Today the jury found him not guilty.

Neuza Cepeda, 39, of Walnut Drive, Dereham, admitted making an instrument which was used to cause a miscarriage.

She is due to be sentenced at a later date.

Detective Chief Inspector Duncan Woodhams said: “We pay tribute to the bravery of the victim who suffered the most devastating loss and her courage to come forward and give evidence was invaluable in securing a conviction.

“We also pay tribute to all the medical and healthcare workers, as well as the family, neighbors and friends who supported the victim in her testimony. The impact of this event can have lifelong consequences for the victim.

“This was a complex investigation into Warby’s deceitful and decisive actions which had such horrific consequences, and is the first investigation of its kind where anyone has been found guilty of this particular crime.”
