Heather Gay and Meredith Marks fight over Bronwyn’s husband

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘s Heather Gay And Meredith Marks may be best friends, but the last “Wife No is on Heather’s side when it comes to her point of view on Bronwyn Newportmarriage.

In fact, Meredith and Heather went back and forth discussing this topic, or more specifically, the fact that Bronwyn and her husband Todd Bradley do do not enter into a prenuptial agreement — in the October 30 issue Real Housewives of Salt Lake City After Show.

Heather, for her part, argued that Bronwyn was wrong to be upset that she and several other ladies questioned her lack of a prenuptial agreement because Bronwyn herself had “made a ton of jokes” about her marriage.

“She told the group about all these issues, made a hundred jokes at his expense, and then, like, chastised me for commenting on it or expressing my opinion about it,” Heather Meredith said on After the show. “And you with your legal educationYou know, for a person with such a difference in age and wealth, prenuptial agreements are a common practice…”

Meredith’s response? Much to Heather’s surprise, she said, “Yes and no.”

“There are a lot of reasons why it’s better to have it, and there’s a lot of reasons why it’s better to not have it,” Meredith explained. “If everything is premarital property and tied up, you don’t even need a prenuptial agreement.”

Still, Heather wasn’t convinced. Addressing Todd’s Career HistoryShe said, “You say you’re a trader at Goldman Sachs, you say you’re an intellectual guru, and then you just marry for love? I feel like it’s a mixed message.”

“Well, I don’t understand. Being smart and purposeful doesn’t mean you can marry for love? What are you saying? – Meredith answered.

“No, you can’t,” Heather joked. “It means you’re a fool.”

When Meredith told her she might want to reconsider the statement, she refused: “I fucking support it.”

Why was Bronwyn Newport upset with Heather Gay?

In his interview on the website RHOSLC after the showBronwyn explained that she doesn’t necessarily get angry when people joke about her marriage to Todd. However, she was not happy with the way Heather spoke about her husband.

“I joke all the time about people thinking I’m a gold digger or a trophy wife, mainly because it just disarms the situation. I was already joking,” Bronwyn explained. “When I think I started to get so upset about Brittany (Bateman) and Heather, calling me a gold digger isn’t that funny or that original and it’s getting boring, but I thought the ongoing talk about the prenup and everything else was starting to turn me off and turn it into “Todd is stupid.” And I just don’t tolerate that kind of disrespect for Todd.”

She continued: “So to say, he was stupid for not having a prenuptial agreement, and then when I called Heather and said, ‘No, I support women getting prenuptial agreements,’ I see that’s what Heather is doing. this is when she gets caught doing it. something is too far away and trying to distort it.”

After all, Bronwyn just wanted Heather to apologize during their conversation in episode seven. “Just say, ‘I understand why this bothers you.’ Nothing! She wasn’t going to give me anything,” Bronwyn said.

Why didn’t Heather Gay invite Bronwyn on her trip to Palm Springs?

Bronwyn explained, RHOSLC after the show“This is an anniversary trip, and I felt like Heather, by being very calculated about asking about my prenuptial agreement, felt like she was speaking poorly of my marriage. And we needed to clear this up before she celebrated my anniversary.”

As fans probably know, Heather and Bronwyn weren’t able to make it when they met in episode seven.

Heather Gay reacts to not being invited to Bronwyn’s trip to Palm Springs

Heather noted on RHOSLC after the show that it seemed like Bronwyn was “choosing” what she wanted to be upset with… if only to justify the fact that she was “never” going to invite her on the trip to Palm Springs.

“She wanted it to be a two-person trip, and she needed a way to do it without getting her hands dirty,” Heather said. “She wanted to hurt my feelings and create a huge gap between us, and that’s exactly what she did. Don’t plan a bachelorette party with the people closest to me and then tell me it’s my fault I wasn’t included.”
