LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Fans across Southland went wild on Wednesday night as Dodgers beat the Yankees and win them eighth World Series title in the history of the franchise.

Several crowds gathered in Los Angeles – on Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles, downtown, near Dodger Stadium in Elysian Park and other places – to celebrate the championship victory.

LAPD later issued a dispersal order in the area of ​​Sunset Boulevard and Vin Scully Avenue near Dodger Stadium, as well as at 9th and Flower streets. In East Los Angeles, authorities also declared the assembly unlawful and attempted to disperse the crowd.
