Alice is a sad ghost who wanders the grounds of Moringvale, but you can help her cheer up and gain access to a useful tree along the way. This task isn’t easy, but it’s worth it, so here’s how to complete the quest “Alice’s Sorrow” in The Sims 4 Life and Death.

Walkthrough of the quest “Alice’s Sadness” in The Sims 4 Life & Death

TO complete the quest “Alice’s Sorrow”your goal is to find out what happened to all four of Alice’s children. There’s a fair amount of work to do, so here’s a full rundown of everything you need to do.

• Ask about Alice’s sadness.
• Find Deimos.
• Find Freddie.
• Find Ann.
• Find Edith.
• Return to Alice.

Ask about Alice’s sadness in The Sims 4 Life & Death

The first step in this quest is to choose Ask about Alice’s sadness option, finding Alice under Guardian tree V Morningvale district. Alice is a sad blue ghost with a veil over her face and can always be found hanging around her special tree.

After talking to her, she admits to you that she is very sad because she passed away without knowing what happened to her children, and is worried that their deaths were her fault. She offers you Quest “Alice’s Sadness” formally task you with finding out what happened to her four children.

To get her the answers she desires, you will need to track down all four of her children throughout the world of Ravenwood. Each child’s destiny is different, which means you need to travel to four unique places to find them all.

Find Deimos in The Sims 4 Life and Death

The first child you need to find is Deimosand its location is quite unique as it can be found entrance to any crypt all over Ravenwood. Crypts are small vaults in rabbit holes found throughout Ravenwood that you can interact with to send your Sim exploring dungeons.

If you want to explore the temple closest to the Guardian Tree, find the Eternity Club, point your camera at the sparkling purple water nearby, and look for the crypt to the right of the stairs leading into the water. There are many other crypts around, but the easiest way to get to this one is from Alice.

Once you have found the crypt, select Explore underground crypts option. This option appears next to the small tree logo while the quest “Alice’s Sorrow” is active. Once you select it, your Sim will head inside and begin exploring.

Your Sim will then explore the area for a while and eventually you will see a pop-up saying that they have found a stone tablet with the name Deimos. Select Read the Stone Tablet the opportunity to find out what happened to Deimos. He lived a very rich and honorable life until he was eaten by a cow plant as an elder. Now that you know what happened to him, it’s time to move on to finding Freddy.

Find Freddy in The Sims 4 Life and Death

Freddie can be found floating around playground in the central region of the city Crow’s Crossing district. It is a small blue ghost, similar to the tiny ghosts featured throughout. Sims 4 Paranormal Activity not the usual occult game ghosts.

There are quite a few ghosts flying around this area, but Freddy is the most fashionable of them and the only one with a black mustache and an orange tie. All the other ghosts are simple and have no accessories, making Freddy easy to find if you know to pay attention to these key details.

Once you find Freddy, select Ask about Alice’s sadness option. Freddie remembers little about his life, but says he will never forget Alice’s unconditional love for him. This is all the information you can get from him, so it’s time to move on to finding Anne.

Find Anne in The Sims 4 Life and Death

Find Anngo to Whispering Glen surroundings and search island in the middle of a huge river in the area. Head to this area and find the massive Ancestor’s face carved into the stone near where the Moonwood Revelry night festival takes place along the river.

Facing the statue, follow the river west until you come across a small island. Travel to this island to find Anne’s grave. Select Read the epitaph option to use it to find out her fate. Anne dedicated her life to children’s education and was loved by all. Now that you know this, it’s time to track down Edith, Anne’s last child.

Find Edith in The Sims 4 Life and Death

The last child you need to find is Edithand she is perhaps the most intimidating and difficult of anyone to interact with. You can find Edith next to the scary Well of longing and regret V Crow’s Crossing district.

This location can be quite difficult to find, so if you’re having trouble finding it, start at the playground where you found Freddy earlier. From there, look for a massive mansion on the other side of the stone bridge or small wooden bridge. Here you will find a tiny creepy forested area with a green glowing well.

Near this well you will find an angry red glowing child ghost that is Edith. She’s quite intimidating and takes time to get used to strangers, so choose Attempt to communicate option and hope she wants to chat. If it doesn’t, you may have to wait and try again later. Communication with her is very difficult and depends on luck, so this task may require many attempts.

Once you manage to get past the initial interaction with her, choose Ask about Alice’s sadness option appears. Edith confesses to you that her mother did not cause her death, but she accidentally drowned in the well, so now she is forever stuck in the Well of Longing and Regret.

Return to Alice in The Sims 4 Life and Death

After learning what happened to all four children, return to Alice at the Guardian Tree in the Valley of Sorrows area. Select Results report an opportunity to tell her everything you’ve learned. Alice will then tell you that the weight has been lifted and she now feels much better. She will also give you a special reward for your efforts.
