Jesse Watters ridiculed for wild look at his wife’s voting

Fox NewsJesse Watters was ridiculed mercilessly on social media this week after he said – in enough in a dramatic way – that his marriage will fall apart if he finds out that his wife Emma secretly voted for the Democratic Party’s vice-presidential candidate. Kamala Harris.

During a roundtable discussion on Wednesday’s episode of “The Five,” Watters, his fellow hosts and panelists discussed new announcement released in support of Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, reminding women that their vote is private — and that they should choose their preferred candidate no matter how their husbands vote.

The commercial, narrated by Oscar winner Julia Roberts, was created by the evangelical group Vote Common Good.

“In the only place in America where women still have the right to choose, you can vote the way you want and no one will ever know,” Roberts says in voiceover as the woman in the ad marks her ballot. for Harris and Walz.

“If I found out that Emma walked into the voting booth and pulled the lever for Harris, that would be the same as having an affair,” he said, as members of the panel joined him in laughter. “This violates the sanctity of our marriage. What else is she hiding from me? What else did she lie about?

“Why would she lie to you, why would she lie to you? (Did you) threaten her? Why would she lie to you? co-host Jeanine Pirro insisted.

“Why would she do that and then vote for Harris?” Watters continued. “Why did she say she was voting (for the former president) Donald Trump), and then vote for Harris. And I caught her, and then she said, “I’ve been lying to you for the last four years.”

“It’s over, Emma!” Watters added. “This will be D-Day.”

People at former Twitter site X were unimpressed that Watters compared his wife’s hypothetical vote for Harris to infidelity or the historic day when Allied troops landed in Nazi-occupied France.

“Here’s Jesse Watters saying he thinks his wife voting for @KamalaHarris is like having an affair – it ‘violates the sanctity of our marriage.'” Mike Nellis, former senior adviser to Harris, wrote on X. “I don’t care what type of marriage you have—traditional, modern, whatever—it’s not healthy. And it’s strange.”

republicans obsessed with controlling women” wrote another user X.

In 2022, he was widely criticized for speaking out about how creepily he courted his current wife, a young producer who worked on his show while he was married to another woman.

“When I tried to get Emma to date me, the first thing I did was let the air out of her tiresWatters told his co-hosts. “She couldn’t go anywhere. She needed a ride, I said, “Do you need a ride?” She jumped straight into the car.”

What would Jessie do if you voted against her choices (and interests)? Some men don’t realize how funny this sounds. Advice to Emma – leave this misogynistic asshole.
