Pat Sajak’s Amazing World Series Viral Reaction

While the 2024 World Series is already in the cards (with the Los Angeles Dodgers defeating the New Yankees in Game 5), the landmark event featured plenty of notable celebrity cameos throughout all five games.

Pat Sajak not only sat in the crowd during Game 5, but subsequently went viral online for his appearance behind home plate. However, the 78-year-old TV presenter thought he had gone viral for a completely different reason after seeing his name go viral.

Sayak, who captivated the audience‘ Hearts, who spent 43 years as the host of Wheel of Fortune, spoke out on X (formerly known as Twitter) about how he sees himself trending.

“Noticing I’m trending,” the famous TV host, who announced his retirement from the game show back in 2023, tweeted on October 30, 2024, before joking: “Thought I died. Turns out I’m fine.”

Sayak is not only alive, but continues to work. Although he stepped down as host of “Wheel of Fortune” after the conclusion of season 41 earlier this year, he remains with the show as a consultant and still hosts “Wheel of Celebrity.”

Other celebrities spotted at the World Series include Jason Bateman, Ice Cube, Billy Crystal, Jim Harbaugh and many more. They all witnessed how Dodgers beat Yankees become world champions.
