Tell City Football Continues to Thrive Despite Numerous Injuries

TELL CITY, Ind. (WFIE) – Friday night is another exciting night of high school football in the tri-state area, and the Hoosier State will host a slew of exciting sectional semifinal contests, including one in Tell City.

The Arrows will host Salem in the Section 40 Class 2A semifinals. Tell City has really been hit hard by injuries this season. The two most serious injuries were suffered by Terry’s twins: Noah and Landon. Noah lost the season, but Landon has a chance to return to action tomorrow.

Both are outstanding running backs, but the running game hasn’t missed a beat in their absence. That’s thanks to a very strong offensive line, as well as defensive backs Brandon Casebolt and Braxten Beaver, and quarterback Max Fortwendel, who rushed for over 300 yards against Tecumseh just a couple weeks ago.

Tell City and Salem matches will begin at 6:30 pm CT in Tell City.
