After Elsbeth’s twisty Halloween episode, here’s what the EP told us about ‘more amazing things’ on the way

Elsbeth celebrated the spooky season in the fall TV schedule for 2024 with a Halloween episode that featured Carrie Preston wears the iconic costume from start to finish. Well, I will say that since last year’s final we’ve been breaking the mold, looking for variations, just so that the audience never gets the feeling that you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. So in this movie you see a murder, but of course you don’t understand the whole story and you have to figure it out with Elsbeth. We have others where we do more amazing things. And I don’t want to give anything away, but we had a lot of fun letting ourselves be a little free. Before this job, I watched every Columbo and people think they were always the same. But that’s not true. In fact, they will also play with things and deceive you.

Tolins didn’t go into detail about the “more amazing things” to come, but it looks like fans shouldn’t expect a full season. Elsbeth week after week in the same format.
