Arguably the best T20 middle-order batsman in the world at the moment, Heinrich Klassen was hired by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whopping INR 23 crore, the highest among the players retained for IPL 2025. His salary was previously 5.25 crore.

Klassen’s rise in the limited-overs format has been monumental, with the right-hander hitting sixes at will. He played an important role in SRZ’s stunning campaign last season. The Proteas wicketkeeper-batsman finished the 2024 season with 479 runs at a strike rate of 171.

Klassen’s finishing performance along with the opening duo of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma will also be key for SRZ in IPL 2025.
