Foster dog was so malnourished that owners initially thought it was a coyote

The foster family who brought in the “extremely malnourished” dog gave him a nickname they thought was better suited to what he looked like when he was first rescued: coyote.

“He was found on the highway over the summer, burned alive on the sidewalk, and he was all skin and bones,” said adoptive parent Riley. Newsweek by email. “He had a problem with his trachea and couldn’t eat because he was vomiting and he had a lot of skin problems.”

Riley jokingly wrote in the video that “a coyote jumped over our fence” and other family members. dogs didn’t notice. The dogs followed him, and soon they were all running and playing together in the yard.
