Apart from Bhokar, Beed got 139, Sambhajinagar East 139, Nanded North 97, Phulambri 92, Bhokardan 89, Khadgaon 88 and Tuljapur 87. Political analysts point out that the increase in nominations is being seen in the constituencies of the Marathwada region that reported Maratha-led agitations. activist Manoj Jarange Patil is seeking reservation for the community in education and government jobs. They note that many of Patil’s followers entered the election fight expecting support from the quota leader, even though the latter is likely to announce his position by November 3.

Polling officials said the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) has a capacity of 16 candidates and a NOTA button (none of the above). Constituencies with more than 100 applications will require 8-10 EVMs at each polling station, which can also create confusion for voters.

“The final picture will be determined by the evening of November 4,” an election commission official said.

More than 20 constituencies in the Marathwada region have crossed the 100 nomination mark, indicating a broader trend of increasing political activity among candidates.
