Today things started out bad for me. FLARE left me with a parade of gray boxes and a whopping 401 remaining solutions. HOIST cut it down to 11 and SNOWY cut it down to 1. SNOOP for the win!

Competitive score according to words

Today is complete garbage, zero points for guessing 4 and another zero for linking a bot. That’s how it is!

How to Play Competitive Wordle

  • A guess of 1 is worth 3 points; guessing 2 is worth 2 points; guessing out of 3 is worth 1 point; guessing 4 is scored 0 points; guess by 5 – -1 point; guessing 6 is -2 points, and missing a word is -3 points.
  • If you defeat your opponent, you will receive 1 point. If you tie the score, you will receive 0 points. And if you lose to your opponent, you will receive -1 point. Add this to get your result. Keep a daily running score or just play to get a new score every day.
  • Friday is 2 XP, meaning you double your points – positive or negative.
  • You can keep a running count or just play day by day. Enjoy!

Today’s Wordle Etymology

Word spy originated in the early 19th century, comes from the Dutch word Snowpenwhich means “to peep” or “to eat in secret.” The word probably entered the English language to describe a person who interferes or investigates in a curious or secretive way, eventually becoming synonymous with espionage or meddling in the affairs of others.
