Where Donald Trump was polled among Latinos four days before the election

Former President Donald Trump He appears to be maintaining much of his national support among Latino voters in the days leading up to the presidential election, according to recent polls.

Trump faced a furious backlash from some Puerto Ricans and other Latinos after his Oct. 27 rally at Madison Square Garden in New York, at which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, a “floating island of garbage.” Trump has so far ignored calls to apologize, insisting he “doesn’t know” Hinchcliffe.

Although the trash remark could hurt Trump in the election in ways that polls might not capture, such as increasing turnout among Latino voters who support the vice president.
