Authorities say a Duncansville man has pleaded guilty to selling drugs.

A Duncansville man has pleaded guilty in federal court to drug trafficking charges in and around Blair, Cambria, Center and Clearfield counties, U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced Wednesday.

Douglas Hillegass, 62, pleaded guilty to one count before U.S. District Judge Stephanie L. Haynes of Johnstown. The case stems from a six-month Title III wiretapping investigation.

Hillegass was a methamphetamine distributor who received about six ounces of methamphetamine from Jason Lynn, a major drug distributor, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. Hillegass then distributed the methamphetamine to other people.

Hillegass will be sentenced on February 26, 2025. He faces up to 40 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan D. Lusty prosecuted the case for the government.

The indictment is part of an Organized Crime Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) investigation.
