Dowling and Jackson State tied with MVSU – Carswellfamilyfoundation

Chechula Dowling and her Jackson State women’s soccer teammates trailed Mississippi Valley State (MVSU) 1-0 at halftime, but rallied to tie the game 2-2 on the road at MVSU Soccer Field.

MVSU took a 1-0 lead when Liana Bryant scored in the 30th minute, assisted by Jacqueline Kamberet.

Jackson State responded with Amalia Fonua’s goal, her first of the season, in the 75th minute.

Mississippi Valley State took a 2-1 lead on Camber’s goal in the 84th minute.

However, Jackson State tied the game at 2-2 with an 84th-minute goal from Kendyl Terrell, her fifth goal of the season.

This goal completed the scoring for the game.
