Leicester striker Jordan Ayew told Sky Sports after his last-gasp equalizer: “It was a difficult game. I think a draw is a fair result. When you play a game like this, it’s hard to be away from home. It was always difficult, and we managed to leave with a draw. We accept it and move on.

“When you’re on the bench, you want to go out there and make an impact and help the team. This doesn’t happen every time. It worked today. When I entered the field, I had my first chance and it was taken. I had one more line and it came in with some luck.

“It was important because we knew it was a difficult game. We, of course, wanted to win. We took it and moved on to the next one.”
