New Yorkers in the Rochester, Buffalo and Albany areas will now have access to Walmart+ InHome Delivery Service starting this holiday season.

Walmart+ is expanding its InHome delivery service to an additional 13 million eligible U.S. households in more than 25 cities across the country, including New York, the company announced Monday. The expansion is expected to create 105 jobs across three markets: 44 in Rochester, 37 in Albany and 24 in Buffalo.

“Walmart+ InHome Delivery is designed to be the greatest benefit for Walmart+ members, delivering fresh groceries, essentials, last-minute holiday items and more straight to their homes,” the press release states. “Walmart+ InHome participants will feel like Santa came to town early.”

Walmart+ is a membership that gives you access to benefits “that will help you save time and money,” including delivery from your local store, member prices on gas at select gas stations, and use of mobile Scan & Go. according to the company website.

There are two membership options: monthly for $12.95 per month or annually for $98 per year. However, if you sign up for a Walmart+ membership before December 2nd, you’ll get 50% off the $49 annual membership.

How does Walmart+’s InHome delivery service work?

Once you’ve signed up for a Walmart+ membership, you can shop online at Walmart.com or in the Walmart app for eligible items and choose the InHome delivery window that suits you best. A Walmart InHome associate will then deliver your delivery to your garage or kitchen, or leave it at your doorstep.

There are no additional fees or tips, and a Walmart InHome associate will either enter your garage or home with a one-time passcode or ring your doorbell if you don’t have a smart lock or smart garage opener, the company says. Employees wear cameras on their vests to record all deliveries, which members can access in their Walmart account for a week after each delivery.

You can also schedule a return to be picked up from your home and delivered to your local store for a refund, all at no additional cost.
