The real Kamala Harris appears at the Cold Open

Next reports of unexpected stopover in New York On Saturday night, Vice President Kamala Harris actually stopped by 30 Rock to appear on Saturday Night Live.

The episode began with a skit of CNN’s Kaitlan Collins preparing viewers for shutdown messages from both candidates. First they went after James Austin Johnson’s Trump, wearing a garbage man’s vest, ridiculing his latest antics and pleading for an end to the election.

As Bowen Young’s J.D. Vance took the stage, the scene cut to Maya Rudolph’s Kamala Harris, Andy Samberg’s Doug Emhoff, Jim Gaffigan’s Tim Waltz and Dana Carvey’s Joe Biden, who immediately turned off the TV and thought about their own campaign.

However, in the end, Kamala Rudolph kicked the men out of the room, she needed time to be alone with herself.

“That’s it. The last campaign stopped in Pennsylvania,” she says. “I’d love to talk to someone who’s been in my shoes, you know, a black, South Asian woman running for president, preferably from the Bay Area.”

At the same time, the real Kamala Harris appeared in Rudolph-Harris’s mirror, playing her reflection and encouraging her. “You got it because you can do something your opponent can’t do. You can open doors,” says the real Harris.

Afterwards, they go back and forth, completing each other’s sentences with plays on Harris’s name, excited about the end of the drama-la and ready to “keep calm-ala and carry on-ala.”

Early last month, Harris was shown Maya Rudolph’s latest impression of her during an appearance on ABC’s The View. immediately split it.

“My God!” Harris exclaimed, laughing and applauding. “I didn’t see this! I didn’t see this. Oh, she’s so good.”

To be sure, host Joy Behar asked Harris directly if she liked Rudolph’s impression, which the vice president confirmed.

“Maya Rudolph. I mean, she’s so good. She’s so good! she was surprised. “She had everything! Costume, jewelry, everything! Wow! Manners!”
