Juan Soto’s new forecast could spell disaster for the Philadelphia Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies are among the Major League Baseball teams that will have some questions to answer this winter. From a talent standpoint, the Phillies appear to be in a good position moving forward.

However, after failing to achieve their goal of winning the World Series in each of their last three campaigns, something has to change. Even if it’s a small move, it can often take teams out of the game.

If one thing is for sure, Philadelphia wants to make a splash with every move they make. There’s a reason why some treat them as fans for Juan Soto as their front office has done nothing but make big moves over the last few winters.

As for Soto, it’s still unclear if the Phillies are actually a fan of the slugger. Considering that most reports suggest this, it’s fair to think so.

However, Scott Boras He’s also the best agent in baseball for a reason. There’s a good chance he’s hinting that Philadelphia might be interested in the slugger to drive up the price for other teams.

At this point, Soto will likely be worth $600 million. Perhaps 15 years, but considering he’s just turned 26, that’s a fair price to pay for the best striker in the game.

This wouldn’t be the best outcome for the Phillies, but until he’s done with New York Metsthat wouldn’t be the worst case scenario.

The left-handed hitter told reporters after the Yankees lost the World Series that he planned to talk to every team interested in his services so Philadelphia could entice him with a massive offer.
