The real Kamala Harris gives herself a pep talk.

vice president Kamala Harris took an unexpected trip to Saturday Night Live just three days before the presidential election, appearing in the mirror Maya Rudolphwho once again reprized her role as Vice President, this time inspiring herself.

Saturday marked fifth consistent week Rudolph depicting Harris during the show’s opening. For the occasion, she and her husband Doug Emhoff (Andy Samberg) first tuned in to a Trump rally where the Republican candidate (James Austin Johnson) was exhausted and just saying whatever came to mind.

“Where the hell am I? It stinks in here!” he chatted on. “I don’t want to be here with you people. Come on then. I ran out of gas. Guys, I’m furious here. You can see it, right? Cracks are showing. I’m exhausted. I’m chatting. I do crazy things with a microphone.”

Rudolph turned off this scene, and then saw off his partner Tim Waltz one by one (Jim Gaffigan), President Joe Biden (Dana Carvey), and the second gentleman. Then she sat down alone.

“I just wish I could talk to somebody who’s been in my shoes, you know? A black, South Asian woman running for president, preferably from the Bay Area,” she said, turning to face the mirror—and Harris herself.

The loud applause and applause made it difficult to hear Harris’ line: “You and me, sister!”

“I’m here to remind you: you got this. Because you can do something that your opponent cannot do. You can open the doors,” Harris said, berating Trump for hard time Wednesday opens the door of a garbage truck for a photo op.

Holding hands, the couple took turns saying the “end the drama” part of the promise and then stood facing the audience.

“Let me tell you something,” Rudolph said. “I will vote for us.”

When Harris asked if she was registered in Pennsylvania, Rudolph replied, “Unfortunately, no.”

“Well,” Harris replied, “it was worth a try.”

Harris had a lot to say on Saturday. She started in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she called Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson said his party would “likely” unveil the CHIPS and Science Act if given the opportunity to do so after the election. Harris similarly criticized his recent confession that the Affordable Care Act will also be on the chopping block.

This was followed by rallies in Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Harris was flying to Michigan ahead of his scheduled campaign day on Sunday when the second squadron changed course to New York.
