‘Days of Our Lives’ Cast React to Kelly’s Exit from Monaco General Hospital

This causes more concern. … The characters are coming back, so I’m hopeful, and we’ll just leave it at that and whatever happens, happens. I guess we’ll see.”

Eric Marzolf

Marzolf was delighted that Monaco fans erected a billboard in Times Square calling for her GC come back.

“It’s quite simple. Tom Cruise is a movie star, but you only see him on screen maybe 2, 3, 4, 5 times a year. We’re in your living room every day,” Marzolf explained. “We are part of your furniture. The comfort and accessibility that fans have with us is something you can’t beat in any other entertainment industry. That’s why they feel such a connection with you. The soap is similar to candy corn. It’s kind of salty and sweet, but it’s comfort food. If you don’t have your regular food, if you don’t have a snack at the end of the day, you get angry.”
