Vince Carter The jersey’s retirement was overshadowed by Drake’s announcement that he would rip DeMar DeRozan’s hypothetical retired jersey.

Last night the NBA and Toronto Raptors Vince Carter’s jersey has finally been retired. The evening celebrating the release of the franchise’s first retired jersey quickly went viral for all the wrong reasons. In the game, the Raptors faced DeMar DeRozan and the Sacramento Kings. Raptors Ambassador Drake was ready for this special occasion and ended up being broadcast live.

When the broadcasters asked Drake’s opinion on possibly retiring DeRozan’s jersey, Candiana didn’t hold back.

“If you ever put up a DeRozan banner, I’ll go up there and take it down myself… shout out to Kyle,” said a hostile Drake.

DeRozan was mentioned in Kendrick Lamar’s closing hit “Not like us” And appeared in next video. Toronto and Drake helped turn DeRozan into an NBA star, so it’s understandable how Drizzy feels.

Game cameras later captured Drizzy muttering, “Get out of here, P***y,” as Demar walked by.

DeMar was asked about God’s six comments and brushed them off, saying Drake and his beige rage have a long way to go. The Kings star would later take to Instagram to post Smokey from Friday, discussing his actions as Deebo leaves. Apparently he was clowning Drake for talking trash as he left.
