Mariah Carey’s new wax figure is perfect

Mariah Carey is ready for the holiday season, and so is her new holiday-themed wax figure that’s got fans thinking.

Once Halloween ends, Carey is known to immediately usher in the next round of holidays, especially Christmas. So on November 3, she announced on Instagram that fans could get into the holiday spirit with her and visit her Madame Tussauds wax figure in New York.

“Finally found someone to help me deliver toys this year!” she signed slideshow photographs in which she poses with a wax figure, an exact copy of the icon. She also thanked the famous museum for the honor bestowed upon her.

The real Carey smiles in a sparkly black dress, holding an ornament next to her figure that features a matching holiday ornament to complement her ruby red dress. Madame Tussauds also perfectly reproduced the music superstar’s golden wavy locks.

The singer’s post included a clip of herself seeing the figure for the first time along with her 13-year-old twins. Monroe and the Moroccanwhom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

“Oh my god,” Kari said as she approached the figure.

“Wow! It’s like I’m looking at you through a mirror,” the Moroccan was surprised.

The mother of two agreed, adding: “Wow! It’s surreal. Very good. Look at these shoes!”

She then noted that the sculptor even added a mole to her chin.

“We wanted to make All I Want for Christmas a year-round program. This dress is inspired by Marilyn Monroe,” she explained in the video. She also revealed that the rubies the figurine wears are her own jewelry.

She noted that the exhibit includes more personal details, such as nutcrackers and pictures of her family’s favorite Jack Russell terriers. dog breed.

“Wax Mariah is my new best friend,” she said before the clip ended.

Carey’s fan-approved wax figure comes after fellow superstars such as Taylor Swift and Beyoncé have been the subject of more controversial wax figures this year.

In February, Beyoncé fans thought that the wax figure of the singer at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, located in Blackpool, England, seemed looks more like Leah Remini. Swifties expressed their disapproval in August after a wax figure of the “Fortnight” singer was unveiled at the Panopticon museum in Hamburg, Germany.

Luckily for Carey’s fans, collectively known as “Lumbilly”, there seem to be no complaints about the recent tribute to her at Madame Tussauds. The new wax figure is now on display.
