James Van Der Beek diagnosed with colorectal cancer

James Van Der Beek has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer.

The former Dawson’s Creek star, 47, announced her diagnosis in an interview with the publication. People published November 3.

James Van Der Beek wrote that his daughter was “devastated” when she realized her angel costume had not arrived in time for the holiday, so she followed her father’s example and created herself a halo.
