Giants fans reacted to the disappointing 27-22 loss to Washington on social media

During and after the Commanders’ loss, fans expressed disdain for coach Brian Daboll. They criticized the play and ranted about the defense’s inability to stop the Chiefs when they needed a big play.

Another fan saw optimism in the defense thanks to a strong performance on Sunday. The defense was rough in places, but it still limited the Commanders in the second half.

One fan thought the Giants’ defense was overrated in the game. He didn’t appreciate a secondary that limited Jayden Daniels to 209 passing yards. The Commanders offense totaled just 358 yards the entire game.

The Giants’ defense is vastly overrated. Leads the NFL in sacks but can’t cover ANYTHING. If you have a real chance to potentially save this game, you don’t apply any pressure, which allows Daniels to throw to another wide open receiver and kill any chance of winning this game.

The Giants started running the ball well early in the game. However, they seem to have given up on him despite Tyrone Tracey Jr’s good success. One fan even thought that Daboll should have stepped up his play from under center.

@Giants they need to get Jones out of the shotgun and put him under center and they need to make plays all day. He will have more opportunities and it will keep defenses guessing. I don’t know what Daboll is thinking.

A bright spot for the Giants offense has been Tracy’s continued emergence. He had 16 carries for 66 yards. He has more carries than Devin Singletary, who may still be in the count after a previous groin injury.

However, it looks like Tracy is their favorite and will continue to get the bulk of the carries. Singletary had just 7 carries for 33 yards and 15 long.
