Indonesian tourist rescued from mangrove forest

The tourist, an Indonesian national, told officials she was traveling in Thailand with her German friend and was abandoned in a mangrove forest after an angry phone call between her friend and his Thai wife.

The German man was apparently furious that his wife had sold the house he bought for her and took his frustrations out on his traveling companion by telling her to get out of the car in the woods before driving off. She then contacted several agencies for help.
