Latest news: The presidential election campaign enters its final stage on the eve of Election Day

The presidential campaign is down to a final push in several states ahead of Election Day.

Kamala Harris will spend all of Monday in Pennsylvania, whose 19 electoral votes yield the biggest prize among states and is expected to determine the Electoral College outcome. Donald Trump is planning four rallies in three states, starting in Raleigh, North Carolina and ending twice in Pennsylvania, as well as events in Reading and Pittsburgh.

Star power fuels final day of Harris campaign

The vice president holds a rally in Allentown with rapper Fat Joe before visiting a Puerto Rican restaurant in Reading with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

She will also hold an evening rally in Pittsburgh with performances by DJ D-Nice, Katy Perry and Andra Day, followed by a rally at the Philadelphia Museum of Art’s “Rocky Steps” with a statue of the fictional boxer.

The closing event will feature performances by DJ Cassidy, Fat Joe, Freeway and Just Blaze, as well as Lady Gaga, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Ricky Martin, The Roots, Jazmine Sullivan and Adam Blackstone, and Oprah Winfrey.

Where will Trump be on the eve of Election Day?

Former President Donald Trump is wrapping up what he calls his final day of campaigning for the White House with a busy schedule that includes four rallies in three swing states.

He will begin Monday in Raleigh, North Carolina, emphasizing the importance of the state he has visited over the past three days.

He then heads to Pennsylvania – perhaps the biggest prize on the electoral map – for rallies in Reading and Pittsburgh.

He’ll end his night – and likely spend the early hours of Election Day morning – in Grand Rapids, Michigan. It’s a campaign tradition for the former president, who also held final-day rallies there during his 2016 and 2020 campaigns.

Harris will focus on Puerto Rican-majority areas as she campaigns throughout Pennsylvania.

After his visit to Scranton, Harris will perform in Allentown, a predominantly Latino city home to tens of thousands of Puerto Ricans, at an event with rapper Fat Joe, whose parents were of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent.

Pennsylvania is a swing state that could decide the outcome of the election. But the stop also came after a comedian at a recent Donald Trump rally suggested that Puerto Rico was “trash.”

Later, Harris heads to Reading, where she plans to visit a Puerto Rican restaurant with New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro.
