Actress Chloë Grace Moretz has come out as gay and confirmed her relationship with Kate Harrison in a post endorsing Kamala Harris for president.

Moretz said on her Instagram that voted for Harris because the vice president will protect her rights as a queer woman.

“I believe in the need for legal protection for the LGBTQ+ community as a gay woman. We need protection in this country and access to the health care we need and deserve.”

But who is her longtime friend Kate Harrison? Here’s what we know about her.

Kate Harrison is a multi-agency model who has worked with brands including Inez, Jemiol and Lands’ End, and is the creator of model portfolio management site The Testing Network.

She wrote on company website: “As a model who has been in the industry for over 14 years, testing has and will always be an important part of a model’s career.

“Still, the disappointment was always the same. That’s why I created the Testing Network. In my 14 years, I have found that when a shoot is carried out by a full team of creatives, those shoots are some of the most inspiring, influential and fulfilling experiences I have ever had in my career. But such tests are rare and should not exist.”

Harrison is also a talented photographer. and has a second Instagram account to showcase their photographs, mostly black and white portraits.

Although Moretz mentioned that she had a partner in an interview with The I she didn’t name Harrison in 2022, saying she preferred to keep her “private life private.”

But Harrison and Moretz were romantically linked to each other long before that.

They were spotted kissing outside a restaurant in Malibu, California, in December 2018, just months after Kick ass The Moretz star split from Brooklyn Beckham, the son of former England football captain David, and was spotted together again in Santa Monica, California, in August 2022.

Last January, Moretz posted a clip to Instagram of her and Harrison smiling in a New Year’s slideshow in which she thanked all the “incredible people” in her life and they were together at Taylor Swift’s Eras tour concerts in Las Vegas.

Moretz, who starred in the drama conversion therapy. The Miseducation of Cameron Post in 2018, and Harrison also attended the 2023 US Open together.

Earlier this year, the actress shared a photo of her giving Harrison on his back at Disneyland, calling it “the happiest place on Earth.”

The couple also sparked engagement rumors in March when Moretz was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger at a Louis Vuitton party. Harrison wore one at Disneyland, but neither of them commented on the media rumors.
