Manchester City will stun the Reds by selecting ‘big’ Slot target as Bayern hold preliminary talks

Liverpool will face competition to sign Omar Marmoush as Manchester City and Bayern Munich have joined the race for the Eintracht Frankfurt striker, according to reports.

Liverpool There is still hope that Mo Salah will sign a new contract, which expires next summer. However, the striker is attracting interest from Saudi clubs, forcing Liverpool to draw up a list of potential replacements if a new deal proves impossible.

Arne Slot’s side officially registered their interest in Frankfurt striker Marmus on Friday. Over the weekend, it emerged that Liverpool’s two main targets for replacing Salah are: Marmoush and Napoli player Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

But the pursuit of Marmush became even more difficult. According to the Spanish edition Fishages, Manchester City included the 25-year-old footballer and noted him as a possible replacement for Erling Haaland.

If Real Madrid or Barcelona manage to nab Haaland, then City will battle Liverpool for Marmouche, eyeing him as someone who can score heaps of goals at the Etihad.

While replacing Haaland will be a monumental task, Marmush Apparently, he has such an opportunity. He has scored an impressive 12 goals and provided nine assists in 14 appearances for Frankfurt in all competitions this season.

Bayern sign Marmus after stellar performance

Heavenly Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg states that Marmus is “definitely” on Bayern’s radar, especially after he put in a “star performance” against them on 6 October. The versatile striker, who can also play as a striker on either flank, scored two goals and provided an assist in Frankfurt. allowed Bayern to draw 3–3 in the Bundesliga.

Bayer Leverkusen is leading the race for Ortega. They believe they can convince the player to leave City by offering him more playing time.

Such a move would force City to enter the market for a new goalkeeper who could provide cover for regular No. 1 Ederson.

Otherwise, Liverpool and Chelsea are both tracking Red Star Belgrade prodigy Andrija Maksimovic.

Sources have confirmed to TEAMtalk that Liverpool and Chelsea have sent scouts to keep an eye on the 17-year-old attacking midfielder this season.

Maksimovic’s contract runs until June 2027, although Red Star Belgrade will find it difficult to prevent his departure due to “serious interest” in his services.
