Xbox Introduces New AI-Powered Virtual Support Agent for Xbox Insiders

Microsoft on Monday launched a new AI-powered virtual support agent to help Xbox players resolve support issues faster.

Starting today, this feature is available to select Xbox Insiders in the US. It can be accessed through support.xbox.com for users whose language is set to English.

A virtual support agent uses data from support.xbox.com to answer Xbox console and game support questions, offering optimized support directly through text or voice requests.

Xbox Insiders can view the virtual support agent by logging into your registered Xbox Insider account and going to the Contact Us page on the support site.

The tool appears as an “Ask a Question” option, launching a separate browser window for the virtual agent. If an agent is unable to resolve an issue, users still have the option of contacting a live support agent during Xbox Support hours.

During this preview phase, Xbox gathers feedback from Insiders to fine-tune the virtual support agent. Users can rate an agent’s responses by clicking the thumbs up or thumbs down button, or use the Leave Feedback button at the bottom of the page to offer a direct answer.

Additionally, Xbox Insiders have the option to choose between two versions of Virtual Agent to customize support.
