‘Gilmore Girls’ Books Worth Reading After Annual Review – Deseret News

As the weather gets colder and the days get shorter, many families will be spending more time watching TV.

One of the most popular options for fall or winter viewing is Gilmore Girls. Deseret News previously reported. The series follows Lorelai and Rory Gilmore, a single mother and her teenage daughter living in the charming small town of Stars Hollow, Connecticut.

The series has seven seasons, but they go by quickly, especially if you miss the controversial final season, which was worked on by a different creative team.

For this reason, Gilmore Girls fans may need something even sooner than they think. This is where the Gilmore Girls books come in.

Since appearing on Gilmore Girls, several of the main cast members have written or contributed to books about their experiences.

Just recently, Kelly Bishop, who plays Lorelai’s mom and Rory’s grandmother, posted “Third Gilmore Girlthis year about his personal life and acting career.

“I wasn’t very careful with the book. I’m very outspoken and sometimes I’m too honest,” Bishop said. Forbes about his memoir project in September.

In an interview with Forbes, Bishop praised the actress who played Lorelai, Lauren Graham, who wrote her own memoir about Gilmore Girls and life in Hollywood. A collection of essays entitled “I’m talking as fast as I can“, was released in November 2016.

Graham also published a second collection of essays: “Have I already told you this?” and a fiction book about a young actress trying to launch her career in New York. It’s called “Someday, someday, maybe“

Based on 40 interviews with cast and crew members, including Bishop, this Gilmore Girls book tells the story of how the series was created.
