Chargers superstar will join Bills in 2025 as a free agent

Today is the last day Los Angeles Chargers and the rest of the league could make a move as the NFL trade deadline makes headlines on Tuesday. Several high-profile moves have already been made; however, the Chargers haven’t made any noise yet.

Looking to the future, the Chargers will do more for their roster in the upcoming NFL Draft and in free agency. The team could also lose several key players to free agency. NFL Scouting at Bleacher Report believes Khalil Mack will be out the door in 2025.

Mack’s ideal landing spot next season is projected to be the Buffalo Bills: “The Bills have lost much of their edge depth over the last few seasons. This offseason will be the time they need to get that back with aging pass rushers not always able to do so, but they will be able to offer Khalil Mack an opportunity to win a championship in his age-34 season.”

Even though Mack is getting older, he still earned Pro Bowl honors last season and has 4.5 sacks this season. The results of the 2024 season will determine whether the team plans to retain Mack, who will undoubtedly fetch a high price as a free agent.

Mac will want to be with a rival. If the Chargers make the right moves, this could be a franchise next season.
