Beyoncé encourages people to ‘vote’ in new ‘Beywatch’ video

Beyonce, Texas Hold'em

The singer released the “Beywatch” video to remind people to vote ahead of Election Day.

Beyonce rallies people to vote by channeling Pamela Anderson in new “Beywatch” video.

Ahead of Election Day, the singer posted a video of herself singing along to her on Instagram. Cowboy Carter track “Bodyguard”. It shows Beyoncé trying out different looks made famous by Anderson, each complemented by her famous beach blonde hair. However, Beyoncé had other intentions with her “Bailloween” look and encouraged her fans to vote throughout the video.

Fans especially loved the “Beywatch” video, as Beyoncé chose not to release visuals for her last two albums. Despite this, Beyonce did everything she could to ensure the BeyHive had a presence in this historic election.

She recently appeared alongside her mom Tina Knowles and former Destiny child member Kelly Rowland at a Kamala Harris rally in Houston. During the October 25 event, Beyoncé talked about how she encourages everyone to vote like a mother and not like a celebrity.

“Your freedom is your God-given right, your human right,” she told the crowd.

Beyoncé has quietly supported Harris since the start of her campaign, allowing her song “Freedom” to be used at events for the Democratic candidate. However, Queen Bey isn’t the only superstar mom encouraging people to exercise their right to vote.

Rihanna also took to social media to remind people to vote. Although the Barbados-born singer is not a US citizen and therefore cannot vote, she did make reference to the election while poking fun at her situation.

“Point of view: I’m trying to sneak into the polls with my son’s passport #votecauseicant,” the Fenty Beauty founder joked, referring to one of the two children she shares with New York rapper A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna got even more cheeky about the election in her caption. She mentioned the issue of reproductive rights and firing those who are not fit for the job.

“When protecting pussies and firing pussies can happen in one vote,” the provocative star wrote.

Since the elections are still in tight race, both women continue to do their part to get everyone involved.
