Starting November 2nd, Cookie Monster’s birthday, Sesame Street. posted a photo Muppet on X (formerly Twitter) with the following message: “Just a reminder that you are doing your best and that is more than enough,” the post read. “You can take it one day at a time.”

Many other Sesame Street characters also posted on their accounts about how early voters voted for 2024 presidential elections.

“Whenever I feel down, my mom tells me to go outside, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment in nature.” Mr. Snuffleupagus posted.

“I’m proud of you, my friend” Grover wrote in his post. “I just had to let you know!”

“You make our community so magical!” Abby Cadabby wrote.

Grover says: “It’s normal to feel anxious”

While our friends at Sesame Street have shared words of encouragement, the Muppets also want to acknowledge that many voters may be feeling a little uneasy about the election.

“We all face times when a situation feels overwhelming, and that’s okay. Remember, you are not alone.” Sesame Street Message reads.

The Nov. 4 post shows Grover saying, “It’s normal to feel anxious.”

Subscribers shared their feelings for the Muppet under the post.

“Oh, Grover. I’m more than just worried,” wrote user X. “But thanks for listening. Where’s the Cookie Monster…stress eating can help.”

Others thanked the Sesame Street team for always being there when we needed them.

“Definitely not Sesame Street that will make me cry,” the user wrote. “Thank you guys! Who knew we would still be turning to our childhood friends for reassurance that everything would be okay.”

“I was feeling anxious, but I feel a little better now,” another “Thanks Sesame Street” user wrote.

Elmo ‘loves you a little more’ on Election Day

On Monday Elmo posted message to his followers on X.

“Hey friend! Elmo loves you,” he wrote in the post. “And Elmo will remind you every day if you need him.”

And as election week began, social media users thanked Elmo for the post.

“Elmo buddy, this is going to be a tough week for the world while we wait for the votes to be counted,” one user wrote. “Wait, we need useful content!”

With the election on everyone’s mind, User X asked Elmo if he had voted.

“Thank you @elmo. Today was a good day to hear this! Have you voted yet? – asked the user.

While many adults expressed concern about this year’s election, Sesame Street received a unanimous vote for always showing they care.

“Thanks Elmo, we’re all going through a tough time right now, but it’s good to know you still care. We all love you too!” written by user X.
