Australian universities’ student debt reduction plan helps male graduates more than females

University students will have to wait until at least 2027 for the Albanian government to cut the cost of popular university degrees, as new analysis of its plan to cut student debt found it would help male graduates pay off their obligations some 14 years earlier than women.

Throughout the year and over the weekend, the government has made numerous policy announcements regarding rising student loans as it seeks to take action to combat the cost of living crisis. These include forgiveness of $16 billion debt, raising the income threshold at which students must begin paying off debt and containment how much debt can grow every year.
