CONNECTED: Presidential election polls: who’s ahead now?

Surprisingly competitive races in Texas and Nebraska give Democrats a chance to offset potential losses elsewhere, while incumbents Sherrod Brown (Ohio) and Bob Casey (Pa.) face well-funded GOP challengers. The result will determine the direction of the Senate on key issues in the coming term.

Race for housing: key areas up for grabs

Democrats are seeking to flip four seats to take back the House, while Republicans are seeking to expand their majority. Key races include California’s Central Valley, Arizona’s 1st District and Maine’s 2nd District, pitting incumbents against well-funded challengers in swing districts.
