How Summer Could Derail Chance’s Investigation into the Young and the Restless

Phyllis spent most of the November 5 episode. The Young and the Restless telling Summer about how she was going to make Sharon suffer and gas her until she confessed that she killed Heather and framed Daniel. Summer was terrified and begged her mother not to leave and to be herself as usual.

However, Summer knows—just as we do—that Phyllis cannot be stopped. This means Summer may decide to take matters into her own hands. And perhaps make everything even worse – like mother, like daughter?

Stop her before she’s Phyllis-es again

Summer (Allison Lanier) is convinced that Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) ignoring Christina’s (Lauralee Bell) advice and pursuing Sharon (Sharon Case) alone will backfire and make Daniel’s (Michael Graziadei) situation even worse.

She tried to convince her mother to come to her senses, but Phyllis insisted that she was right. What if Sharon decides the only way to help her brother is to neutralize Phyllis?

Two birds, one irregular stone

Summer may decide to take matters into her own hands and make sure Phyllis can’t prove that Sharon killed Heather (Vail Bloom). But what if along the way, Summer destroys evidence that could actually prove that Sharon killed Heather without knowing what it was?

Summer could have done the wrong thing while trying to do the right thing. Thinking she was doing the right thing by saving Phyllis from doing the wrong thing.

And if Chance (Conner Floyd) finds out, Summer may be the only one punished for the crime Sharon (possibly) committed, which Daniel was accused of and Phyllis tried to solve on her own. This will likely provoke Phyllis into another rant. Exactly what we needed.
