ABSA Rewards Swiper Competition!

How to play:

  1. Enter: WhatsApp “#ABSAREWARDS” to 087 240 6456 and follow the competition instructions.

  2. Connect: Listen to Algoa FM Breakfast from 11 to 15 November from 06:00 to 09:00 to find out if you’re a lucky finalist.

  3. Play the game: If you select this option, play the Swiper Vault game live and try to win as much money as possible.

Swiper Vault Game: November 11-15:

  • The breakfast team will randomly select one eligible entry and call the participant live.

  • If you are called live, you will select a host from the breakfast team to play Swiper on your behalf live.

  • Your chosen host will begin swiping and cash prizes will begin to accumulate from a minimum of R10,000.

  • You must instruct the selected presenter to stop swiping before the swipe sound stops, or you risk leaving empty-handed.

  • If you stop Swiping your finger before the sound stops will win the accumulated prize money.

  • If you’re an Absa Rewards member, you’ll win double and be entered into the draw for a brand new red Omoda C5 Style car, plus six (6) months comprehensive car insurance from Absa Insurance.

Prizes:

  • Cash: The winners could win their share of RUB 150,000 in cash. If the finalist is an Absa Rewards member, they will automatically win R5000 cash.

  • Car: ABSA Rewards members are automatically entered into the grand prize draw to win a brand new OMODA C5 car with 6 months free car insurance from ABSA Insurance.

  • If you win live during the Swiper Vault competition and you are not an Absa Rewards member, you will not be able to enter the grand prize draw to win a car. You will have to register as an Absa Rewards member and re-login.

  • Applications for the grand prize close on December 11th.

Conditions of the competition:

  • Only persons residing in the Algoa FM territory. broadcast zone are only allowed to enter if they are 18 years of age or older and only if they have not won on Algoa FM in the last 90 days.

  • If you win a live Swiper Vault competition and are not an Absa Rewards member, you NOT take part in the main prize drawing and win a car. You will have to register as an Absa Rewards member and re-login.

  • Participants will only become finalists after being called back live from November 11 to November 15, 2024.

  • The main prize draw will take place on December 13, 2024.

  • If a participant does not answer the call, they will forfeit their chance to win and the next finalist will be contacted.

  • By entering this competition, entrants’ details will be shared with Absa.

  • To facilitate the collection of prizes, winners’ names, numbers, email addresses, ID numbers and on-air audio recordings will be shared with Absa.
