Delhi Minor Girl Rescued After Kidnapped at Welcome Zone, 2 Accused Beaten Up by Locals in Latest Police Investigation – India TV

Delhi Crime News: Two men accused of kidnapping a minor girl were attacked by locals in the national capital after she was rescued from her home in Janta Mazdoor Colony in Welcome area, Delhi Police said. According to the police, a case has been registered and a POCSO section will also be added to the incident that took place on Tuesday.

“On November 5, the Welkom police station received a PCR call stating that a 4-year-old girl, daughter of Mohammed Tanzeem, a resident of Janta Majdoor Colony in Welkom, was missing. After this incident, FIR No. 601/24 u/s 137 (2) BNS dated November 06 was registered on PS Welcome and a search was conducted.”

“Both the accused were beaten up by people and the missing girl was found,” Delhi Police said.

A medical examination was carried out and the girl was provided with consultation. A POCSO section will also be added against the accused, Delhi Police said.
