About the latest episode of the brothers’ series New Heights In the podcast, which aired on Wednesday, November 6, Jason expressed regret for also saying the word after he was seen standing in front of a man and saying, “Who the f**k now?” in viral clips.

Travis began the podcast by saying, “I know you wanted to clear things up, so go ahead,” to which Jason responded, “I’ll just address this issue, I feel like it needs one more time, and then hopefully we can stop.” I’m talking about this really stupid situation.”

The father of three who first spoke out about the incident on November 4th. on ESPN Countdown to Monday evening – added: “I am not happy with the situation, my reaction gave him the time of day and also gave the situation publicity. That’s what I regret. It wasn’t worth watching, it’s really stupid… if I just keep walking, it’s a fucking nothingburger, no one sees it. Now he’s there and he’s just perpetuating hatred.”

Jason insisted that “the thing I regret most is saying that word, to be honest… the word he used is just fucking funny and takes it to another level. Damn it, beyond the line.”

“It’s inhumane and it got under my skin, it caused a reaction. In the heat of the moment, I thought, “Hey, what can I say to him in response? I’m going to throw this shit back at him,” the athlete said, admitting that he now knows he “shouldn’t have done that.”

“What I really regret is that there is now a very hateful video online that has been seen by millions of people, and I share the blame for its perpetuation and distribution,” Jason told listeners.

Travis had nothing but praise for his brother, insisting that people “spreading the video” had created a “more serious situation than I think it actually is.”

“The real situation is that some damn clown came up to you and talked about your family, and you reacted in a way that was defending your family, and you may have used some words that you regret. ” Kansas City Chiefs The tight end continued. “It’s a situation you just have to learn from and accept. I think the fact that you own it and talk about it shows how sincere you are to a lot of people in this world.”

“You don’t choose to hate, that’s just not who you are,” Travis added. “I love you brother, I think you said it perfectly.”

Following an incident Saturday involving an unidentified college football fan, PEOPLE confirmed University of Pennsylvania police have launched an investigation.
