Heat vs. Suns predictions, odds and key players to watch for Wednesday, November 6

Heat vs. Suns predictions, odds and key players to watch for Wednesday, November 6

The Miami Heat look to bounce back from a tough loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday as the Heat blew a double-digit lead in the first half and ultimately lost on Domantas Sabonis’ game-winning shot.

Miami now hits the road to take on Kevin Durant and the Phoenix Suns, who are off to a fast 6-1 start this season.

Phoenix narrowly lost to the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday but came away with a two-point win. Phoenix hasn’t covered the spread at a high rate, but oddsmakers believe they have a 5.5-point edge in this matchup.

Let’s dive into the odds, key players to watch, and my best bet for Wednesday’s bout.

Heat Injury Report

Suns injury report

Miami Heat

Bam Adebayo: After scoring just 44 points in the first four games of the season, Bam Adebayo scored 48 points in the last two games, shooting 19 of 39 from the field and 3 of 6 from 3. Miami needs to do more offensively, especially in the third quarter, if it wants to pull off an upset on Wednesday. .

Phoenix Suns

Devin Booker: Could this be a comeback for Booker? The star guard shot just 3 of 18 on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers, dropping his field goal percentage to 41.9 percent for the season. DBook had a 40-point game last week, so I expect him to make a difference at home tonight.

This game could be decided in the third quarter, and I don’t hate betting on the Suns during that period.

Phoenix ranks fourth in the NBA in third-quarter offensive rating, while the Heat are dead last. Miami fell to the Kings 37-17 in Game 3 on Monday, losing to the Kings, and now faces a talented Phoenix offense on the road.

Overall, Phoenix ranks eighth in the NBA in net rating, but both teams have just two wins on the season.

However, Miami’s struggles at third – and overall on offense this season (17th in offensive rating) – are cause for concern on the road.

I’ll be splitting the points with the Suns at home, where they are 4-0 in 2024-25.

Pick: Suns -5.5 (-110)
